yep...phish played last night. All new songs except for that heady Reba. an acoustic REBA...who would have thought! and at mountain jam of all places. I talked to page after the set was done and he said they were book for 6 shows at red rocks with dave matthews band opening! WOW!!! i am at mountain jam at me campsite...last night at around 4am PHISH reuinited and played an hour long acoustic set!! thats right..you heard it right...PHISH IS BACK!!! they played an acoustic reba that just blew the 100 or so people there away! man i cant wait till red rocks this summer! trey looked healthy and fishman was laughing.

Trust me, our servers are top of the line and can handle it, in this case it was on-site connection failures.

mstaggerlee, I'm afraid that the prompt to download autobahn is an embedded automatic script - you'll just have to keep hitting cancel, sorry! I'm surprised it doesn't work well for you - it's a heavily tested and well-trusted plugin.

I understand your frustration. Honestly. It's very difficult for us to predict what problems will last how long, and Langerado was an unfortunate case in which we thought it was an easily solvable problem, and it turned out to be a much greater, more dire issue than previously assumed. This has become a similarly frustrating problem of a different realm, and we are still working fervently on the issue and are making steady progress.

As for your suggestion to me, I am very proud to work with the most diligent, professional, driven, and intelligent group of young men that I have ever had the pleasure to know. Like I said, we all work very hard for this to work. Unfortunately due to the nature of live productions and technology, there will sometimes be problems, and unfortunately both of your experiences with iClips was during a time when we were facing a rare serious problem. Again, please accept all of our apologies as we continue to work at it.

Brian,

Langerado was caused by our actual hardware breaking due to the storm. No amount of people with IT degrees could have gotten that up faster than we did, as we had to get new parts couriered from across the country to get the broadcast up for the last day of the festival.

This particular problem, again, can't be solved any faster than it is being worked on - it is a localized problem in New York, North Carolina, and Florida, and we have been in contact with our professionals all day, who have been running tests, resetting servers and connections, and doing everything in their power to try to get everyone the ability to connect once more.

I apologize that your experience with iClips has been unsatisfactory, and I assure you that we always do everything in our ability to get things to work as well as possible for everyone trying to watch. I do hope that you continue to give us a chance, as most of our webcasts are delivered smoothly - many people can vouch to that. Please accept my humblest apologies and understand that this is frustrating for everyone, and that we will always do our best to provide this service as best as we can to everyone.

Hey guys,

Somehow the actual hard-line connection on-site at the festival had gotten knocked out, and we've been running a fresh hard-wired connection in order to get this up and running ASAP. We are doing EVERYTHING in our power to get this up, and I sincerely apologize for the wait. They're telling me it should be about another 15 minutes or so before the broadcast is able to go live again.

Thank you all for your patience and understanding as we do all we can to get this broadcast working.

Been to all 3 previous jams. Show is at the bottom of a ski hill in the spring - ground is VERY moist and when it rains (80% chance tomorrow, BTW) you could kill yourself trying to slog thru the mud to get to show area. I'll stay home & be thankful for what I can see over the web this year.

I had nothing but trouble as long as that Autobahn accellerator was installed. As soon as I went into Control Panel and uninstalled that beast, the lowband stream ran without a problem.

Are you running Mac or Vista?

You should be able to connect to the broadcast now, if not very very soon. Try clearing your cache or using VLC media player to watch externally - www.videolan.org/vlc

If you guys are running Windows XP, it should be working with Autobahn right now. Otherwise it's just a matter of time before certain connections are able to pick back up to the broadcast. Sorry it's causing troubles!

To fix some connection issues we were having this morning, our ISP is currently resetting several connections around the nation - all of the connections should be fully repaired and able to connect to the broadcast within the hour.
