Its good and all to say don't argue about music, but that won't stop it because people see something in their band that makes them believe that it's the best band out there, they want to make people see what they see or in this case hear what they hear and how they are hearing it. In this case i like the disco biscuits because i think they have the most creative lyrics and song structures and set lists, and magner brownie and allen beat the respective counterparts from umphrey's

The Disco Biscuits have gotten so much tighter in the past few years. I remember seeing them,STS9,Galatic,and MOE playing clubs between 8-12 years ago!!! It's so amazing seeing these bands come so far!!!

JKesty,I think you and i are on the same page.I love the Biscuits more for the groove and soul.I like U.M.for the tech aspects as well.I'm a muscian myself (drum/percussion)and have a deep respect for alot of these bands,no matter who's better on what instrument.It's about feeling your "chi"during the groove,definately.

No way I was at 12/30 UM, I love UM and they played about a 60 percent good show, unless you like that new cock rock shit like search for they played. 12/31 UM was the best umphrey's show I have seen, and that included over 30 shows.
