Fore·cas·tle (f’ok_sol) n. ~ A superstructure at the bow of a ship where the crew is housed. Hard at work in the unruly sea, a place workers gather to unwind after a hard day of labor. A place where the people come together.

In a sea of change, the Forecastle Festival is a port-of-call where the world gathers to experience the best in Music, Art, and Activism®. A celebration of sights, sounds, and sustainability, Forecastle connects travelers North, South, East, and West. Merging entertainment with education, Forecastle inspires a voyage of personal growth and global change.

This event is going to be a bit different from the Summer of Jam norm...we're extremely happy to say that the entire weekend will be completely free. For all of your love and support we decided that this would be our midsummers gift to everyone, consider it Christmas in July!

Our onsite connection is at the Mast stage - so expect all of the live goodness to come from the main stage. Bands playing on the Boom stage will be interspersed throughout the weekend on delay.
